This is the plan that i have created for my front cover page, it includes: mast head, the price, the barcode, the image that i plan to take and the headlines.

Research Double Page Spread

I have chosen this double page spread because I think it will interest the target audience and entice them to read the article. I also like that they have chosen a celebrity to put on their article and that it takes up the majority of a page.

Feature article: it is important for every magazine to have a feature article as it is normally the reason why people buy the magazine; it also helps if there is the feature photo links in with the feature article. I like that this magazine has made the feature photo tie in with the feature article as then you know what to expect when you see the photograph. I also like how big the photograph is as it becomes very eye catching.

Type Face: I really like the type face used within this double page spread as again, it is eye catching as it is very bold and in a big font so that it grabs the target audiences attention. I also like how important things have been put in a different colour and a bigger font size (Lilly Allen) as it draws your eyes in and if you didn’t already know what the article was about, you would then know. I also like how the sub heading is a bigger font that the actual article as you can then tell them apart.

Over all I think that this magazine has used good anchorage within this double page spread as the image is linked with the text.
